Why it is never too late to start over

Starting all over again can give us an opportunity to re-evaluate our values, our goals and reconnect with who we really are. It can be easy to find ourselves stuck in a cycle of negative events, not knowing how to get out and this is why we should not fear change because it is part of life and can offer a new perspective. We can break free from these events if we embrace change. Starting all over does not mean we have failed; it means that we are giving ourselves permission to try again, to challenge ourselves and do something different.  Sometimes the goals we set for ourselves are not aligning with the environment we are finding ourselves in, and it can be difficult to achieve these goals. Being compassionate with yourself

Being compassionate and understanding with ourselves is something that does not come easy, especially when we are going through a difficult situation or a failure, we tend to criticize ourselves. Criticizing ourselves will only make us to feel bad and it will be difficult to get over the mistake we did or the failure. It is during this time that we should be gentle and stop beating ourselves up, understanding that we are only human, mistakes happen, and it is part of life. When we practice gratitude, we can change our perspective about life, we begin to see our lives differently. Gratitude gives us an opportunity to shift our focus to the present moment which helps us to not get stuck in the unpleasant past experiences.   We all have something to be grateful for, the issue is that many of us focus on the things we don't have, and as a result we end up being unhappy most of the time. In the past I used to worry a lot, and I was always in a bad mood, and this was also affecting my sleep, I was not sleeping well at all and also my eating pattern was a bit weird, I didn't have appetite, and I was feeling tired most of the time. I would worry about almost everything, and I wanted to overcome worry because I could see that it was affecting my life negatively.
